TEACHING
"Sadie Glass' evident passion and dedication inform each lesson she teaches our son, Ike. In addition to technique and theory, Sadie takes time to unfold some nuance in the exercises and compositions Ike studies with her. His performance has improved significantly since beginning his work with Sadie. "Sadie really helps me improve songs by making me repeat some parts in different ways.'"
--Ike, and his father, Ross Rubin

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities. The most important factor is motivation and passion for music. I believe in all students having a strong undertanding of fundamentals (tone, breathing, articulation, rhythm, and ear training). In addition to fundamentals I assist students on all areas of musicianship from solo to orchestral training. Along with modern technique, I teach natural horn and baroque horn techniques. I believe it is extremely important to have an understanding of historic performance practice as a modern player. It allows the player to expand their interpretation and understanding of tone, phrasing, and colors.
